Job Description
Contract Interview Engineer facilitating technical interviews and evaluating developers through Karat’s platform. Creating objective, inclusive hiring processes for software teams.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate technical interviews with software developers through Karat's platform
- Create an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge
- Provide input on candidate performance, coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and coding approach
- Collaborate with Karat to test content, processes, and products
- Mitigate bias, improve hiring signals, and complete objective evaluations
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer
- Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)
- High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection
- Experience conducting technical interviews is preferred (e.g., data structures, algorithms)
- Resume must be submitted in English
- Candidates must be located in an eligible country listed on Karat's website
