Job Description

Investigation Officer conducting fraud, digital evidence, surveillance, and litigation investigations. Supporting risk mitigation across Salmon’s financial services organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases received through the Shared Mailbox and Hotline
  • Conduct initial investigations of cases triggered by or received from other departments
  • Ensure all data is gathered for end-to-end investigations
  • Provide direct technical support to investigation, litigation, and forensic analysts to collect, preserve, process, analyze, and interpret digital evidence from open sources, including social media
  • Investigate assigned cases at various risk levels
  • Implement fraud prevention and investigation programs, policies, systems, documentation, and investigation plans
  • Conduct covert and overt investigations
  • Conduct surveillance and counter-surveillance
  • Represent the company in prosecution and litigation of cases as required
  • Coordinate with internal departments on risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage business intelligence activities, including mystery shopping

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminology or any related four year courses
  • Law enforcement/Military background preferred
  • At least 3-year experience in Investigation preferably in Financing, Banking and Security Industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
