Job Description
IT Business Analyst optimizing Oracle Fusion SCM planning modules for Avery Dennison. Collaborating with supply chain and IT teams to improve overall efficiency within Oracle Cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional support and optimization of key Oracle Fusion SCM planning modules, specifically Demand Management, S&OP Planning, Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning and Production Scheduling
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key business leaders across supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement.
- Conduct detailed gap analyses between legacy business operations and Oracle Fusion standard processes
- Design, configure, and document Oracle Fusion SCM solutions (including BR100 configurations and MD050 functional designs)
- Identify and present opportunities for automated workflows, technical solutions, and process improvements within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem and assess/implement new features in Quarterly updates to unlock additional capabilities within the SCM planning space
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scripts, and lead data migration/cleansing activities using Oracle FBDI
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Computer Science is required
- 5+ years of fundamental experience as an IT Business Analyst, specifically focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM implementations or migrations within a manufacturing industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion SCM planning modules
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into Oracle standard solutions
- Strong proficiency in writing SQL and PL/SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools, specifically OTBI and BI Publisher
- Experience with custom applications in Oracle EPM
- Familiarity with Oracle integration touchpoints (OIC)
- Experience in (Lean) Six Sigma and/or Agile/Waterfall Project Management methodologies
- Certifications: Oracle Cloud SCM Certified Implementation Specialist is highly preferred. APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification is a strong advantage. CBAP certification is an advantage.
