Job Description
Java Backend Developer building REST APIs and supporting existing features at Compass UOL. Focusing on technical solutions, code quality, and collaboration in the team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing technical solutions for new features and offering necessary support for existing features when required.
- Expected to assist other team members with technical questions while ensuring the best solution for the business.
- We place a strong emphasis on quality, including clean, readable code (clean code).

Requirements:
- Experience developing REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot;
- Knowledge of data modeling and persistence with relational databases;
- Experience with Spring Data JPA;
- Understanding of transactions, data consistency, and concurrency control;
- Experience implementing business rules for financial operations;
- Experience with unit testing;
- Familiarity with API documentation using Swagger;
- Familiarity with good architectural practices and code versioning.
