Job Description
Backend Developer specializing in Java and Spring Boot for innovative financial projects. Collaborating within agile teams to deliver high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop scalable, secure RESTful APIs.
- Work with microservices and event-driven architecture (EDA), using Kafka.
- Participate in technical decisions and define software architecture.
- Perform unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
- Monitor and optimize application performance.
- Handle incident resolution and investigate production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements.
- Document technical solutions and support the creation of operational runbooks/instructions.
- Contribute development best practices, conduct code reviews, and promote a DevOps culture.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Java (versions 8, 11, 17, or 21).
- Proficiency with Spring Boot (including Spring Boot 3.x).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with messaging and event-driven architecture (Kafka).
- Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Good security practices for API development.
