Job Description
Java Developer supporting two Java-based insurance portals and web services for InTTrust. Troubleshooting incidents, maintaining applications, and restoring services remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide troubleshooting and application support for two Java-based portals and their web services.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and support service restoration.
- Support backend, front-end, and web-service components.
- Perform Tomcat restarts when required, following the client’s operational procedures.
- Collaborate with the client’s technical stakeholders and document issues and resolutions.
- Support two portals of a leading insurance company and their web services.
- UI support is not included in the scope for one portal.
Requirements:
- Solid professional experience in Java development.
- Experience developing and maintaining applications using JSP (JavaServer Pages).
- Good knowledge of JavaScript and web development technologies.
- Practical experience designing and developing applications using Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including querying and working with relational databases.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across web applications and web services.
- Authorized to work in the EU.
- Proficient in Greek.
- Experience supporting production portals in an enterprise environment is a plus.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with incident-management and application-support processes is a plus.
