Job Description
Junior BackEnd Developer using C#/.NET Core at TEHORA, a multidisciplinary Quebec firm. Collaborating with a team on development, testing, and documentation tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop BackEnd services in C# / .NET Core under supervision
- Fix BackEnd application defects
- Participate in the development or integration of REST APIs
- Participate in unit testing and integration testing
- Support application maintenance activities
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Apply development standards and best practices
- Collaborate with senior developers, analysts, and architects
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years and up to 8 years of experience in IT
- Experience in C# / .NET Core development
- Knowledge of REST APIs and databases
- Interest in cloud environments and DevOps
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a team
- Thoroughness in testing, documentation, and code quality
- C#, .NET Core, REST APIs
- Git or equivalent version control tool
- Unit testing and integration testing
- Basic database knowledge
- BackEnd development best practices
- Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD
- Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus
- Cosmos DB, SQL Server or NoSQL databases
- Basic knowledge of microservices
- Agile experience
- Contract assignment or resource pool placement, depending on client needs
- Primarily remote work; availability to coordinate based on intervention requests
