Job Description
Developer Engineer creating technical solutions with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and SQL. Join TELUS Digital to work on innovative projects with a global team.
Responsibilities:
- The Developer Engineer is responsible for developing and creating technical solutions using, as principal tools, React, Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and SQL.
- The Developer Engineer is also responsible and accountable for following the software architecture and design patterns that the project has already defined.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience mainly with React and Node.js. TypeScript, JavaScript, and Express.js are nice-to-haves for backend development
- Experience and knowledge of system design (software architecture, design patterns, API Design and Development) and good practices.
- Experience in Unit Testing.
- Experience in deployment and troubleshooting issues.
- Experience with SQL databases.
- Experience using Agile/Scrum software development methodologies using tools such as Jira.
- Experience with GIT or similar source control tools.
- Experience in working in an Offshore/Onsite model.
- Good communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a software developer with 3 years of hands-on development experience
