Job Description

Key account distribution leader driving national partner growth for 3M’s Electrical Markets business. Executing account strategies, contracts, pricing programs, and cross-functional customer initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support National Key Account Managers in executing strategic business plans for assigned national accounts and distribution partners
  • Drive sales growth, market share expansion, and product conversion opportunities across multiple regions
  • Build and strengthen relationships with national, regional, and local stakeholders
  • Execute national agreements, contracts, pricing programs, RFQs, and promotional initiatives
  • Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and align growth strategies
  • Partner with field sales, marketing, customer service, supply chain, and finance teams
  • Leverage analytics and customer insights for business planning, profitability, and strategic decision-making
  • Deliver training, marketing, merchandising, and demand-generation programs
  • Serve as the primary field liaison for national account initiatives and execution
  • Comply with corporate policies, procedures, security standards, and safety requirements
  • Contribute to 3M’s Environmental Health and Safety culture

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, completed and verified prior to start
  • Two (2) years of direct sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Four (4) years of sales, key account management, distribution, channel management, or business development experience is an additional qualification
  • Experience managing strategic customer or distribution relationships across multiple locations or regions
  • Experience with pricing, profitability analysis, contracts, and business planning
  • Experience conducting business reviews and presenting recommendations to customer leadership
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, and data-driven selling tools
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Ability to drive a company vehicle, subject to pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle history review
