Job Description

Lead healthcare data consultant shaping pre-sales real-world evidence solutions. Analyzing linked patient data and guiding clients through feasibility, data selection, and research design.

Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-sales solutioning by assessing data feasibility and shaping analytic approaches
  • Conduct discovery and translate clients’ research and business questions into actionable analyses
  • Query medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, and chargemaster data using SQL
  • Identify populations of interest and apply inclusion and exclusion criteria
  • Evaluate longitudinal patient journeys and validate analytical outputs using univariate analysis, distributions, trends, and data investigations
  • Conduct pre-sale feasibility analyses to enable clients to generate real-world evidence
  • Own cross-functional alignment between Sales and Data Delivery teams
  • Establish operational best practices and ensure seamless, timely, and accurate data delivery
  • Develop and communicate technical, clinical, operational, and business specifications
  • Translate analytical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead internal documentation, analytics automation, AI enablement, and process improvement initiatives
  • Provide thought leadership to showcase HealthVerity’s strategic value in the real-world evidence space
  • Leverage AI to enhance workflows and improve internal efficiency
  • Take end-to-end ownership of pre-sale data solutioning
  • Validate outputs, identify risks, and assess analytical assumptions

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or related quantitative field
  • At least 4 years experience in a consultative, client-facing role
  • At least 6 years experience using SQL and programming against large relational databases leveraging interoperably-linked, patient-level data at scale
  • Expertise across healthcare data types, including claims, EMR, commercial labs, and social determinants data
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, and NPPES
  • Experience evaluating fit-for-purpose data and implementing research protocols
  • Experience defining populations of interest, applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, and validating analytical outputs
  • Experience applying real-world data to healthcare and life sciences research use cases
  • Experience with healthcare analytics tools such as SQL, Python, and/or R
  • Ability to travel occasionally to HealthVerity HQ in Philadelphia, PA
