Job Description

Lead analytics consultant guiding HealthVerity clients in using privacy-protected healthcare data. Translating real-world data into research insights, training, and post-sale solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for one or more HealthVerity clients, providing expert post-sale support across RWD use cases
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across data, analytics, and research functions
  • Respond to client data questions, triage issues, and drive them to resolution
  • Communicate insights, updates, and best practices to maximize client value from HealthVerity data assets
  • Translate complex needs and methodologies into actionable guidance for cross-functional client stakeholders
  • Lead client trainings, standardize analytic guidance, and document post-sale use-case support
  • Monitor client pipelines, research activity, and emerging use cases; route expansion signals to Sales
  • Develop and maintain client-specific training materials, documentation, and reference guides
  • Query medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, and chargemaster data using SQL or Python to identify cohorts and support inquiries
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and data delivery teams to deliver data licensing projects on time and accurately
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to improvement, collaboration, and innovation initiatives
  • Own data solutioning projects end to end and drive them to completion
  • Dedicate 5–10% of working hours to team and individual improvement

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Clinical Informatics, or related field
  • At least 4 years of direct client-facing experience in healthcare analytics, life sciences, technology, or biotechnology, with ability to manage and grow client relationships
  • Expertise across healthcare data types, including open/closed claims, inpatient/ambulatory EMR, commercial labs, and social determinants
  • Knowledge of codified healthcare data standards, including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CVX, LOINC, NUCC, and NPPES
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python and programming against large relational databases using interoperably linked, patient-level data at scale
  • Experience evaluating fit-for-purpose data and implementing research protocols
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience applying real-world data to healthcare and life sciences research questions and use cases, including RWE/epidemiology, HEOR, R&D, commercial, or public health
  • Direct experience working with technology or life science organizations
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail
  • Occasional travel to HealthVerity headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
