Job Description
ERP Programmer-Lead designing and developing solutions for UT San Antonio's ERP applications. Managing application functionalities and collaborating with IT teams to ensure data quality and resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Performs as key functional analyst and developer for an application, designs and develops solutions that support a department's business needs/issues, and ensures data quality.
- Manages the production platform, develops new application functionalities, and modifies existing rules and applications.
- Works with the application owners outside of IT to oversee the day to day and cyclical operations of an application for budgeting and forecasting processes and reporting needs.
- Plans, develops, tests and implements changes and new functionalities as requested by the application owners.
- Work with cross IT Teams and application owners to troubleshoot and resolve any and all system issues to ensure timely resolutions and solutions for the future.
- Stays current on all updates and patches.
- Mentors lower level team members on IT processes and functional module knowledge.
- Champions and leads technology and process improvement initiatives.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in relevant business applications and implementing information technology projects.
- Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Strong knowledge in relevant software and MS Office suite required.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience; or equivalent education with ten (10) or more years of related experience is required.
- Oracle Infrastructure Cloud (OIC); or any related Oracle Cloud Applications is highly preferred.
- Any Oracle Cloud certifications are desirable.
