Job Description
Lead Product Designer shaping polished, scalable experiences for HighLevel’s AI-powered business operating system. Leading product strategy, complex workflows, design systems and cross-functional quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product areas
- Translate customer needs, business goals and technical constraints into clear experience direction
- Partner with product and engineering leaders, researchers, data partners and designers to define product vision and prioritize opportunities
- Use qualitative and quantitative insight to influence priorities and improve outcomes
- Lead complex discovery and design work through ambiguity
- Design and refine creation, transaction, automation, review, publishing and configuration workflows
- Drive quality reviews and set standards for usability, accessibility, interaction quality, visual consistency and design-system alignment
- Mentor designers and improve critique, shared patterns and design-standard adoption
- Define and socialize measures of design quality and impact
- Collaborate across US and India time zones in a 100% remote environment
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant product design experience
- Sustained leadership, mentorship or design direction across complex digital product work
- Exceptionally strong portfolio; applications without a portfolio will not be considered
- Product judgment, systems thinking, customer empathy, high-quality execution, measurable product impact and leadership beyond individual execution
- Experience leading product design across research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, content design and usability testing
- Exceptional visual and interaction design craft
- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns and scalable product experience decisions
- Experience designing complex creation, commerce, communications, publishing or automation workflows
- Experience designing AI-driven or intelligent interfaces
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Experience influencing design direction for high-impact product areas, systems or platforms
- Experience using AI-powered tools for exploration, prototyping, critique, synthesis or workflow acceleration
- Ability to collaborate across US and India time zones
