Job Description

Leading service partners, contractor relationships, and team operations for IGS Energy’s 500 MW+ residential solar portfolio. Driving maintenance resolution, reporting, training, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the residential solar service operations team overseeing portfolio performance, operations, and maintenance
  • Manage strategic partner and contractor relationships
  • Facilitate resolution of maintenance issues and system issues remotely
  • Manage service invoices and costs, review contractor expenses, and approve invoices
  • Validate system operation and ensure accurate service documentation
  • Coordinate internal teams and service providers to resolve maintenance issues
  • Monitor contractor performance, compliance, and adherence to service level agreements
  • Lead day-to-day team management, training, mentoring, and development
  • Create and modify user guides, job aids, and training documentation
  • Act as an Asset Management 360 platform expert and guide new service partners through onboarding
  • Deliver training on CRM, service requirements, IGS standards, solar installations, and maintenance
  • Coordinate with IT to resolve platform issues
  • Compile reports and dashboards covering resolution rates, time to resolution, cost, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze maintenance trends and service case resolutions to support data-driven decisions
  • Develop workflows with leadership to improve operational efficiency and service quality
  • Audit records related to site visits, maintenance requests, and service activities
  • Contribute to special projects and identify and mitigate risk exposure

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
  • No current or future sponsorship is supported or available
  • 2-4+ years of experience in the Solar or Energy industry
  • 3+ years of experience using Excel for analysis and communicating complex data
  • Advanced knowledge of the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems
  • Familiarity with multiple Residential Solar system architectures
  • Experience with Solar Shading tools such as Aurora/Solmetric Suneye preferred
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software a plus
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage dozens of service contractor partnerships, multiple projects, and competing priorities
  • Ability to navigate complex resolutions and learn new technologies and platforms
  • NABCEP professional certification a plus
  • Relevant manufacturer install certifications a plus
  • Degree in Business Administration, IT, Operations, Renewable Energy, or another applicable field is a plus but not required
