Job Description
Military Field Service Representative supporting Colombian military in T700 engine depot operations. Providing on-site technical assistance and liaising between GE Aerospace and the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns covering a wide variety of support issues related to depot level tooling, maintenance, repair, and management of T700 engines as required
- Establish and maintain on-site relationships to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers
- Includes direct customer interaction and coordination, utilizing in-depth knowledge of engine installation, operation and troubleshooting to help the customer quickly resolve issues and stay on schedule
- Create presentations and spreadsheets that utilize pivot tables and Pareto charts to assist in drilling down to find root cause for issues and create lasting solutions
- Self-motivated, highly detailed and uses best practices to achieve goals while integrating well with others
Requirements:
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking Spanish and English
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a field service representative or jet engine maintenance position)
- Minimum of 3 years of field maintenance, modification, and repair experience on T700 engines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
