Job Description
Counselor leading dynamic group therapy sessions in a mission-driven recovery community. Collaborating with clinical teams and contributing to member-centered care for addiction healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum.
- Facilitate group discussions using a 'plug and play' approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework.
- Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches.
- Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
- Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members.
- Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
Requirements:
- An active LCSW in Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia
- Minimum two years’ leading groups in a SUD setting
- High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
- Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success
- Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed
- Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT.
