Job Description
Licensed Clinical Therapist diagnosing and treating mental health disorders for Headlight, a behavioral healthcare provider. Creating treatment plans and counseling patients remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
- Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances
- Meet regularly with patients to provide counseling and treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
- Involve and advise family members when appropriate
- Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities
- Work with clinical consultation groups and experienced Executive Therapists and Psychiatrists for case consultations
- Focus on patient outcomes within a clinician-led behavioral healthcare organization
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months in a clinical setting after becoming fully licensed
- Master’s Level Degree or higher in related fields (Required)
- Full, unencumbered LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPCC, or Psychologist license based on office location; valid, active license required
- Associate/intern-level therapists are not being hired
- Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) proficiency; demonstrated experience using EHR systems
- Familiarity with NextGen highly desirable
- Strong computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and troubleshoot common issues
- Superb organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and families
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
- Ability to guide, direct, or influence people
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
