Job Description
Licensed therapist providing remote outpatient telehealth care through Brave Health, a technology-enabled mental health provider. Treating diverse patients across the lifespan through commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care remotely
- Provide care to patients across the lifespan
- Work with commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare patients
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
- Use comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Utilize telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets
Requirements:
- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week
- Experience with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Current independent clinical licensure; role title specifies LMFT
