Job Description

Licensing Officer supporting White Hat Gaming’s iGaming licence applications, renewals, due diligence, and regulatory reporting. Maintaining licence records and assisting global compliance operations remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing assistance to the Senior Legal Counsel and wider Licensing team on licensing projects
  • Support licence applications, licence renewals and related matters
  • Respond to inbound internal and external due diligence requests and outbound requests where required
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports submitted to regulators
  • Maintain records of licence applications and existing licences, including central spreadsheets and licence registers
  • Review the WHG licensing mailbox daily and ensure tasks are handled promptly
  • Chase email responses to complete tasks efficiently
  • Review relevant regulations and track upcoming market launches
  • Liaise with internal personal licence applicants and external lawyers to meet licensing requirements
  • Submit regulatory notifications and maintain records of notifiable events
  • Access application portals to support licence applications and renewals
  • Contribute to team to-do lists, meeting agendas and minutes
  • Update guidance documents and maintain processes
  • Report to the Senior Legal Counsel within the Legal, Compliance and Regulatory department’s Licensing team

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a licensing function or supporting licence applications in the iGaming industry
  • Good understanding of corporate due diligence requirements and processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and meet competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Solutions-focused, adaptable and eager to learn
  • Collaborative team player willing to contribute across multiple workstreams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Jira and AI tools is desirable
  • Flexible and willing to support the wider Licensing team as business needs evolve
