Job Description
Fully remote Litigation Attorney defending insurance companies and clients in civil litigation. Drafting pleadings, taking depositions, negotiating matters, and representing clients at trial.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, for negotiations and proceedings
- Take depositions
- Attend hearings
- Conduct mediation
- Represent clients at trial
- Conduct legal research
- Assist with preparation for hearings
- Provide legal counsel to clients
- Analyze legal matters
- Advise clients and negotiate on their behalf
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients for efficient case management
- Maintain up-to-date client files
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Georgia Bar Admission
- 5+ years of recent insurance defense experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others
- Must meet billing goal expectations
