Job Description
Manager, Analytics leading high-performing data engineering team at Fox Corporation. Driving agile delivery and partnering cross-functionally to shape team roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a High-Performing Team Manage the day-to-day activities for a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive team throughput and capacity.
- Drive Agile Delivery as Scrum Master Work as a project manager, owning and facilitating all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as a right-hand to the business functional lead, helping to shape and define team roadmap.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years in a people management role.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and SQL with ability to engage in technical review and architecture discussions.
- Experience running agile teams; CSM or SAFe certification a plus.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise data ecosystems in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Knowledge of Monte Carlo and Atlan for data observability and cataloging.
