Job Description

Commercial Sales Manager driving customer acquisition, cross-selling, and strategic partnerships for a logistics and forwarding company. Managing complex negotiations, key accounts, and sales growth across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new customer acquisition by identifying, developing, and securing long-term commercial partnerships within the assigned market
  • Develop and execute sales strategies supporting new business growth
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio
  • Promote and cross-sell the company's full range of services to new and existing customers
  • Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations and conclude compliant agreements
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM and sales analytics, including forecasting and opportunity management
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, ULD Management, and cross-functional teams to develop customer solutions
  • Conduct customer business reviews and expand relationships through additional services and long-term partnerships
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
  • Improve commercial processes, sales tools, and best practices
  • Coach and support colleagues by sharing market knowledge, commercial insights, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in business administration, sales, marketing or logistics
  • Minimum 5 years of international commercial sales/business development experience in logistics, transport, or forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of closing large deals
  • Customer centricity and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage strategic key accounts
  • Commercial and sales acumen
  • Contract management and negotiation skills
  • Strategic, innovative, and analytical thinking skills
  • Leadership, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills
  • Adaptability and result-orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient use of CRM tools
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
