Job Description

Retirement Sales Activation Manager leading teams that launch small-business retirement plans. Optimizing conversion, customer activation, and revenue for Human Interest’s fintech platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales activation specialists to exceed monthly quotas
  • Develop and execute strategies for high-volume successful plan launches
  • Own team performance by inspecting conversion pipelines, managing pre-launch churn, and ensuring process and talk-track adherence
  • Monitor and optimize conversion workflows to increase velocity and remove bottlenecks
  • Partner with Sales, Program Management, Customer Success, and senior leadership on customer escalations and conversion improvements
  • Identify performance gaps and implement coaching, enablement, and process improvements
  • Forecast conversion targets and contribute to capacity planning through trend and pipeline-health analysis
  • Foster accountability, ownership, continuous improvement, and a collaborative team environment
  • Achieve and exceed monthly conversion quota targets
  • Ensure a healthy mix of Safe Harbor and Auto-Enroll plans
  • Minimize pre-launch churn by resolving customer pain points
  • Improve conversion cycle times and rates through process optimization
  • Establish the team as a driver of customer activation and revenue acceleration

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of total professional experience
  • At least 2+ years in a people leadership role within Sales, Implementation, or a related function in a SaaS or Retirement/Financial Services environment
  • Proven success in a quota-carrying and target-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of 401(k) plan design or ability to quickly develop subject-matter expertise
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, and performance coaching
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Ability to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and execute against aggressive targets
  • Interpersonal skills to motivate teams, resolve conflict, and collaborate across departments
  • Experience managing high-volume customer portfolios and overseeing complex projects or implementations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related discipline preferred

  • Total On Target Earnings (OTE) of $140,000-$150,000, including variable target compensation of $40,000 to $45,000
