Job Description

Strategy and operations manager solving high-priority business problems for Intellect, a global mental health benefits company. Owning implementation, operating capabilities and growth initiatives across regional markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-priority strategic and operating mandates across Intellect
  • Take ownership of complex priorities affecting growth, performance or scalability
  • Structure ambiguous problems and translate analysis into clear decisions and action
  • Develop practical, data-driven recommendations grounded in frontline realities, customer needs and commercial considerations
  • Work with functional, market and senior leaders to define priorities, resolve constraints and maintain momentum
  • Make decisions amid incomplete information, competing priorities and limited resources
  • Own initiatives end to end, from diagnosis and business-case development through implementation and measurable results
  • Create implementation plans with owners, milestones, dependencies and success measures
  • Work alongside execution teams rather than handing initiatives over after analysis
  • Use data and frontline insight to identify constraints, test interventions and improve outcomes
  • Track results and intervene when execution falls short
  • Build processes, tools, operating cadences and accountability to sustain improvements
  • Improve planning, performance measurement and management
  • Build management systems, dashboards, review processes and decision frameworks
  • Strengthen coordination across functions, markets and seniority levels
  • Translate strategic or commercial priorities into scalable operating models and repeatable playbooks
  • Build capabilities, processes and team structures for effective operations
  • Take on broader operating responsibility as organisational needs and capabilities evolve

Requirements:

  • Approximately 4–10 years of experience, ideally including management consulting, strategy, transformation, professional services or another demanding operating environment
  • Strong training in structured problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to independently produce work ready for senior leadership decisions
  • Motivation to move from advising organisations to helping build and operate one
  • Energised by implementation and ownership, not only recommendations or presentations
  • Commercial mindset and understanding of how operational, customer and financial considerations connect
  • Ability to work with incomplete information, competing priorities and limited resources
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with data
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders while building trust and credibility with execution teams
  • High standards, low ego, and willingness to move between strategic questions and detailed operational work
  • Natural ownership, reliable follow-through and ability to maintain high standards without extensive direction
  • Comfortable working across functions, cultures, markets and levels of seniority in a fast-moving organisation
  • Experience in healthcare, technology, insurance, enterprise services or multi-market businesses is helpful but not required
  • Motivation to become a substantive operator and build something meaningful while helping expand access to high-quality mental healthcare

Benefits:

  • Global company – work in a diverse environment with people from nearly 20 countries
  • Generous leave policy – time off to rest and recharge
  • Christmas week off – company-wide break during Christmas, separate from annual leave
  • Birthday leave – enjoy a day off on your birthday
