Job Description
Managing Consultant leading client network automation teams for Network to Code's Nautobot-powered network automation solutions. Driving delivery, stakeholder alignment, and team growth across North America.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of consultants and engineers delivering network automation solutions to clients
- Support team members' professional and technical development
- Understand and articulate the business value of client solutions to internal and client stakeholders
- Communicate network architecture and automation design choices to clients and engineers
- Lead meetings with technical and leadership stakeholders
- Manage client and team relationships
- Align and coach client stakeholders, change drivers, and team members on the soft-technical aspects of projects
- Collaborate with Engagement Managers and senior leadership throughout project lifecycles
- Help teams identify and overcome technical and non-technical blockers
- Help drive Network to Code's company direction with senior leadership
- Build high-performing teams through employee growth, retention, and recruitment
Requirements:
- Experience breaking down complex concepts and presenting them clearly to varied audiences, from engineers to senior leaders
- Comfort with context switching and working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in an external customer-facing role
- Proven experience managing high-performing teams
- Track record of delivering highly successful projects in large and challenging environments
- Exposure to network data management concepts, including Source of Truth strategy, NetBox, CMDB, and YAML variables
- Familiarity with traditional Git workflows
- Networking knowledge (CCNA or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Ansible and/or Python for automating networking devices
- Experience with demos and/or public speaking (extra credit)
- Familiarity with CI/CD applied to network automation (extra credit)
- Familiarity with Flask/Django for custom APIs (extra credit)
- Familiarity with pytest, Nornir, Netmiko, NAPALM, Batfish, Salt, or Robot Framework (extra credit)
