Job Description
Manual QA Engineer ensuring quality for an international social networking platform used by millions. Testing web features, APIs, databases, and B2B functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Own quality for the international web social networking platform and its B2B side
- Perform functional and non-functional testing of the web product and B2B product
- Test new and updated functionality from requirements through release sign-off
- Test backend logic via APIs using Postman and databases using SQL
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and report bugs
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and bug reports
- Analyze automation results with AQA engineers
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver quality releases faster
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in software testing
- Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, types of testing, and test design techniques
- Hands-on experience in web testing, including cross-browser testing
- Knowledge of client-server architecture
- Experience in API testing using Postman
- Experience working with databases using SQL
- Experience testing internal products such as admin panels
- Experience creating and working with test cases, checklists, and bug reports
- Experience with Scrum and the full software development lifecycle
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot in testing workflows
- Intermediate English or higher
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ownership of results
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools would be a plus
