Job Description
Master’s researcher developing temporal data and event-driven architectures for Itaú’s intelligent customer timeline. Supporting prototypes for event-based opportunities and customer journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Research architectures for an Intelligent Customer Timeline
- Evaluate Event Sourcing, Temporal Databases, Event Stores, and hybrid architectures
- Define event models, metadata, time windows, and representation layers
- Develop strategies for dynamically composing context without massive data replication
- Support the development of prototypes for detecting event- and journey-based opportunities
- Research temporal data structures and data engineering
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Distributed Systems, or a related field
- Availability for 40 hours per week
- Knowledge of temporal data structures
- Knowledge of Event Sourcing
- Knowledge of Temporal Databases
- Knowledge of Event Stores
- Knowledge of indexing
- Knowledge of stream processing
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Knowledge of Data Engineering
- Knowledge of Data Architecture
- English proficiency
- Desirable knowledge: Complex Event Processing (CEP), event-driven architectures, Data Mesh, Data Products, large-scale streaming, temporal performance benchmarking, and experience in financial environments
Benefits:
- Stipend: BRL 9,000.00 gross per month
