Job Description
MEP Design Engineer designing electrical, cooling, fire suppression, and plumbing systems. Supporting a large-scale AI data center reconstruction project in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review electrical distribution design, including MV/LV distribution, UPS, diesel generators, and BESS
- Design cooling and ventilation systems, including chillers, dry coolers, water towers, and liquid cooling where applicable
- Coordinate modular architecture and its integration with MEP infrastructure
- Develop gas fire suppression, ventilation, and OT-IT integration systems, including BMS/DCIM
- Review supplier and partner design documentation and flag risks and discrepancies
- Ensure design compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain the Basis of Design document and technical specifications
- Participate in tender processes and evaluate vendor proposals for generators, UPS, chillers, and switchgear
- Coordinate with the IT Infrastructure team to align cooling and power requirements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of MEP design experience for critical infrastructure or heavy industry facilities (data centers, industrial plants, energy, telecom infrastructure, etc.)
- Experience designing cooling/ventilation systems (traditional HVAC experience is sufficient)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit and engineering calculation software
- English proficiency sufficient for international project documentation
