Job Description
Merchandiser managing Mexican retail visits, shelf execution, inventory, and promotions for Freudenberg Productos del Hogar. Reporting KPIs and negotiating in-store placements.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with the itinerary of visits according to the work plan
- Ensure daily delivery of evidence of stores visited and entry/exit registration through the DATA PROM application
- Load and unload merchandise, remove merchandise from the warehouse and fill shelves
- Arrange shelves and execute planograms, including maintenance, order, cleaning, rearrangement and frontage
- Make store orders from the own cedis to stores and manage inventories
- Ensure system and physical inventory match
- Communicate prices and signs correctly
- Negotiate additional shelf space, promotional displays and preferential spaces in stores
- Support promotional actions through placement of POP and promotional material
- Report predefined KPIs and competitor activities
- Clarify client questions and act as a seller with consumers regarding the category
Requirements:
- University degree
- At least 8 years of managerial experience in several sales functions
- Experience in guiding, leading and motivating a team
- Experience in leading annual negotiations, preparation & execution of distributors contracts
- Experience in leading & developing national Key accounts
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of trade structure and sales-force management
- Overview knowledge on processes and principles of a P&L statement and financial key figures
- Strong knowledge & understanding of local trade, customers & competitors
