Job Description
DevOps Analyst role focusing on Azure solutions at a tech solutions hub. Collaborating on scalable and secure system solutions through reliable automation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deploy tools that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of systems;
- Design secure and efficient solutions that meet business requirements;
- Participate in DevOps projects from planning through implementation;
- Ensure that the tools and infrastructure provided by the DevOps team are provisioned, configured, and managed efficiently, in a scalable manner, and securely;
- Automate complex and critical tasks;
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure new requirements are being met while guaranteeing the reliability, scalability, and security of systems;
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures;
- Handle tasks to clarify doubts, fulfill requests, or address incidents (identify and resolve) according to the established workflow;
- Participate in capacity planning, scalability, architecture, and information security activities;
- Produce materials and participate in and/or deliver training on the tools and processes maintained by the DevOps team;
- Monitor the availability and operation of tools provided by the DevOps team;
- Manage user access control to tools provided by the DevOps team as well as Azure Cloud resources, such as virtual machines, containers, database services, etc.;
- Support and reinforce security processes to ensure that infrastructure and development and production environments are secure and compliant with the company's security standards;
- Collaborate with development teams, environment administrators, and SREs to ensure the successful integration of systems and applications in the public cloud;
Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate Linux
- Docker (containers, Dockerfile, and basic Docker Compose)
- Git (branching, merging, pull requests, and simple conflict resolution)
- CI/CD concepts
- Basic knowledge of YAML
- Cloud Computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Advanced knowledge of at least one cloud provider (preferably Oracle)
- Basic scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Python)
- Networking basics (ports, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP)
- Kubernetes
- Helm (basic concepts)
- Azure DevOps
- Monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Application Insights)
- Concepts of logs, metrics, and traces
- Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, and concepts of log ingestion/query)
- Messaging (RabbitMQ at a conceptual level)
- Basic knowledge of .NET or backend development
- Concepts of automated testing
- OpenTelemetry
- ArgoCD
- Familiarity with cloud and container security concepts.
