Job Description
Fullstack developer building scalable React, TypeScript, and Kotlin applications for Capco’s insurance-sector clients. Supporting digital journeys from insurance requests through contracting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Kotlin
- Develop and enhance Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services
- Create reusable frontend components and shared functionality
- Integrate applications with internal platforms and third-party APIs
- Translate Product and UX requirements into reliable technical solutions
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Investigate and resolve production issues, improving application reliability and performance
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to technical discussions and solution design
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, monitoring, and production operations
Requirements:
- Professional experience developing full-stack web applications
- Experience with React
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with Kotlin, Java, or another JVM-based language
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Good knowledge of frontend component architecture and state management
- Good knowledge of backend application design and integration patterns
- Experience with automated testing
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to take ownership of development tasks with moderate guidance
- English proficiency — explicitly indicated in the job title and position description
