Job Description
Incident Response Consultant investigating and containing cyber threats for a leading music streaming company. Managing SIEM and EDR investigations, documenting findings, and strengthening security operations.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate security alerts from initial detection through containment
- Perform triage, log analysis, and incident response activities across assigned cases
- Manage incident investigations end-to-end
- Escalate complex or high-severity events as needed
- Maintain clear communication with security leadership
- Document investigation findings, timelines, and remediation actions
- Participate in on-call rotations
- Collaborate with security operations teams to identify indicators of compromise
- Analyze attack patterns and strengthen response efforts
- Utilize SIEM, EDR, and other security tools to monitor threats, investigate incidents, and support continuous security operations
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in incident response, security operations, or SOC analyst roles
- Ability to independently manage active investigations
- Working knowledge of SIEM, EDR, log analysis, threat detection, and common cyberattack techniques
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Participation in on-call rotations
- Available to start within 1 to 2 weeks
- Shift times and schedules subject to change based on operational needs
