Job Description
Storage systems developer building Linux, Lustre, and HPC solutions for Tieto Tech Consulting. Improving storage testing, automation, CI/CD, and large-scale system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Support integration, functional, and regression testing of storage solutions
- Analyze system performance, troubleshoot complex storage issues, and optimize large-scale environments
- Contribute code to Lustre and related storage infrastructure projects
- Design, implement, and improve automation, CI/CD, and testing frameworks
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on architecture, development, and validation activities
Requirements:
- Strong Storage Systems Developer background
- Strong expertise in Linux-based storage solutions
- Understanding of distributed systems, storage technologies, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments
- Strong software development experience in Linux environments
- Experience with Python, Perl, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Gerrit, Jenkins, and automation frameworks
- Ability to investigate complex technical problems and deliver production-quality code
- Experience with large-scale test automation and CI/CD infrastructure is an advantage
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Ansible, and cloud-based testing environments is an advantage
- Background in HPC storage products and parallel file systems is an advantage
