Job Description
MuleSoft Developer architecting APIs, microservices, and ERP integrations for an IT services company. Maintaining high-throughput MuleSoft services across distributed production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, test, and deploy robust RESTful and SOAP APIs and microservices using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Build end-to-end integration flows connecting enterprise ERP systems with secondary databases, SaaS tools, and proprietary cloud infrastructure
- Author high-quality, reusable integration frameworks and Mule flows optimized for high-throughput, real-time data services
- Work within an Agile environment, executing against technical designs, contributing to estimations, and participating in sprint planning sessions
- Own, operate, and maintain deployed integration services in a distributed production ecosystem
- Ensure high system uptime and participate in on-call support rotations
- Conduct code reviews, establish architectural guardrails, and mentor junior engineers on modern development best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a heavy focus on MuleSoft integration development and API management
- Deep proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform Components (API Manager, CloudHub, Runtime Manager), DataWeave transformations, and complex connector configurations
- Solid experience mapping integrations to core enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, or complex internal data stores
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, enterprise integration patterns (EIPs), and distributed systems engineering
- Proven mastery of continuous delivery networks, automated testing practices (MUnit), and version control systems (Git)
- Exceptional collaborative and analytical skills, capable of explaining complex integration architectures to non-technical business partners
