Job Description
National Sales Manager driving financial-services product growth and sales strategy at UMB. Developing products, leading proposals, managing pipelines, and reporting results to management.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and strategize on the development of new products, with an emphasis on non municipal products
- Assist with marketing and sales direction and strategy
- Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
- Participate in New Business Committee meetings
- Report sales progress and results directly to management
- Strategize with management on new opportunities, products, and overall vision of CT
- Monitor own sales pipeline
- Attend industry related conferences
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Seven (7) years sales experience in Financial Services with demonstrated leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with peers, cross functional counterparts, and line of business leadership
- Proven ability to build external relationships with industry leaders and clients
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
- Proven results oriented sales leadership generating innovative, original solutions
- Proven strong decision making ability based on data and feel for the market
