Job Description

National Sales Manager driving financial-services product growth and sales strategy at UMB. Developing products, leading proposals, managing pipelines, and reporting results to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and strategize on the development of new products, with an emphasis on non municipal products
  • Assist with marketing and sales direction and strategy
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses
  • Participate in New Business Committee meetings
  • Report sales progress and results directly to management
  • Strategize with management on new opportunities, products, and overall vision of CT
  • Monitor own sales pipeline
  • Attend industry related conferences
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Seven (7) years sales experience in Financial Services with demonstrated leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with peers, cross functional counterparts, and line of business leadership
  • Proven ability to build external relationships with industry leaders and clients
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
  • Proven results oriented sales leadership generating innovative, original solutions
  • Proven strong decision making ability based on data and feel for the market
