Job Description

National Sales Specialist driving growth by partnering with National Sales Managers and building distributor relationships. Responsible for training, development, and sales support activities across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the National Sales Managers to build and grow profitable relationships with distributors and their agents
  • Execute field requests for face-to-face training, webinars, in-agency training, and onboarding
  • Develop and execute call campaigns including proactive outbound sales calls, to promote and position Foresters Financial products and member benefits, to distributors and their appointed agents
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase Foresters Financial life and annuity products, services, and competitive advantages
  • Identify training needs and gaps across assigned distribution, then develop tailored solutions to close them
  • Report progress on sales support activity and marketing campaigns, to Nationals Sales Manager and direct Manager
  • Respond to incoming inquiries on Forester’s Financial life and annuity products, illustrations, the agent portal and marketing materials
  • Represent Foresters Financial professionally across all internal/external interactions-verbal, written communication, and at events

Requirements:

  • Prior Life and Annuity sales experience in financial services, with a strong knowledge of industry products preferred
  • Active Life & Annuity license preferred but not required
  • Wholesaling or field development experience supporting distributors, agents or advisors preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Proven sales ability with strong telephone and relationship building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; active listening and the ability to influence
  • Self-motivated to manage workload, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet or exceed goals in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective listening skills; proven ability to influence
  • Advanced computer skills: multi-screen navigation, multi-tasking, accurate keyboarding skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Results-oriented focus with a strong work ethic, and collaborative attitude

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, based on business needs
