Job Description
Network Engineer I providing technical and analytical support for networking at Washington University. Involves troubleshooting and managing network performance and security components.
Responsibilities:
- Provides technical and analytical support for networking and enterprise network planning
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and assists NOC analysts
- Configures and manages central network components
- Establishes policies and procedures for managing the network
- Prepares and maintains detailed network documentation
- Configures and manages security perimeter devices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of experience in Network Design
- Skills: Client Counseling, Client Management, Customer Empathy, Customer Service, IT Solution Design, Negotiation, Networking Technologies, Oral Communications, Organizational Planning, Stakeholder Management, Technical Support, Written Communication
