Job Description
Nurse Practitioner delivering telemedicine sleep care through Sunrise Group’s Dreem Health clinic. Screening, diagnosing, and treating sleep disorders while documenting care and following AASM protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive sleep medicine care via telemedicine
- Thoroughly document patient interactions using the customized EHR
- Apply appropriate billing procedures
- Participate in quality control and improvement activities
- Return patient messages and calls in a timely fashion
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Keep current with and follow AASM guidelines and clinic medical protocols in clinical care and decisions
- Screen, diagnose, and treat patients struggling with sleep issues
- Provide patient service and support throughout the care journey
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to service enhancements
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years experience of direct patient care
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sleep or sleep medicine is required for candidates who wish to start within one month
- Applicants without prior sleep experience must enroll in the Dreem Health Academy program — a paid, 4-week training course; completion is mandatory before beginning any work with patients
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- A CA APRN License AND one or more additional state licenses are required
- An active CA Furnishing license and an active DEA license (eligible to DEA license)
- Must be able to work full time, a minimum of 36 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday
