Job Description

Nurse Practitioner delivering safe, ethical virtual women’s healthcare for Fresh Health in Australia. Conducting telehealth assessments, prescribing responsibly, and supporting empowered patient decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead virtual synchronous-video clinical care across Fresh Health’s Women’s Health program
  • Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments and prescribe within scope
  • Provide holistic assessments covering perimenopause, menopause, and related conditions
  • Screen for red flags, contraindications, medication risks, and psychosocial considerations
  • Manage sensitive or complex presentations with empathy and clarity
  • Provide evidence-based counselling and tailored health education
  • Prescribe responsibly under state-based Poisons legislation and antibiotic/antiviral stewardship principles
  • Decide when to treat, pause, or escalate to face-to-face care
  • Explain risks, benefits, alternatives, and lifestyle considerations in jargon-free language
  • Support informed, pressure-free patient decisions
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready clinical notes within the clinical governance framework
  • Contribute to case reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify safety trends, program improvements, and clinical insights to shape Fresh Health’s roadmap

Requirements:

  • AHPRA-registered and unrestricted as either Medical Practitioner (General or Specialist Registration) or Nurse Practitioner (Endorsed)
  • 2+ years post-registration experience
  • Experience in women’s health, midwifery-adjacent, sexual health, fertility, and primary care roles
  • Strong working knowledge of MBA Telehealth Guidelines and safe prescribing principles
  • High comfort with digital health platforms and remote clinical workflows
  • Warm, clear, and culturally aware communication style
  • Deep respect for patient autonomy and long-term health outcomes
  • Bonus: experience in obesity management or metabolic health, such as SCOPE certification
  • Bonus: background in dermatology or hair restoration treatments
  • Bonus: prior telehealth or virtual care experience
