Job Description
Remote School Occupational Therapist providing vital occupational therapy services for K-12 students. Join E-Therapy's innovative team supporting exceptional learning experiences through virtual therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and school staff regarding strategies to promote students' success.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' education plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state where practicing
- Passionate about working with K-12 students in a virtual setting
- Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills (including email and Microsoft Teams)
- Experience in teletherapy
- Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and therapeutic modalities (preferred)
