Job Description
Operations Lead building ivyclip’s international supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment operations. Scaling the hair-clip brand across European markets, retailers, and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Operational responsibility for procurement, logistics, sales, and finance
- Ensure that goods are available at the required location on time
- Manage day-to-day operations from ordering and production through transportation, warehousing, and retail replenishment to online fulfillment
- Build scalable processes, systems, and partner structures across multiple countries, retailers, and channels
- Own forecasting and ordering across all channels
- Manage manufacturers while balancing product availability and working capital
- Manage freight, customs clearance, retail warehouses, online fulfillment, and Amazon FBA
- Design the European logistics and fulfillment setup based on costs, service levels, and error rates
- Ensure reliable retailer supply, including call-offs, delivery windows, displays, and complaints
- Define processes, KPIs, and tools
- Build customer operations tools, processes, and goodwill policies
- Translate recurring customer feedback into improvements
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics involving physical products
- Proven responsibility for goods, orders, inventory, or product availability
- Understanding of the interdependencies between forecasting, procurement, production, working capital, transportation, and sales
- Experience working with 3PLs and freight forwarders; international sourcing and retail supply experience is preferred
- Ability to turn unstructured processes into simple, scalable processes and document them
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong sense of ownership
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- A master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a comparable field is a plus, but not required
