Job Description
Program Officer II providing programmatic, operational, and administrative support to the STRIDES project. Ensuring adherence to donor regulations and effective coordination with partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provides programmatic, operational, and administrative support to the STRIDES project.
- Supports project implementation, compliance oversight, partner engagement, request for proposal management, and procurement management.
- Works closely with program, technical, finance, procurement, and country office teams.
- Maintains project documentation and records management systems, including SharePoint and Jira.
- Coordinates travel, logistics, consultant engagement, procurement tracking, and administrative processes for project activities.
- Supports compliance reviews and donor communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent in International Development, International Affairs, Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Public Health, Communications, or related field.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Typically requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience with project management principles and practices.
- Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO), government agency, or private organization.
- International or Domestic (US) Program Development or Program Management preferred.
- French proficiency strongly preferred; additional language skills desirable.
