Job Description

Safety Analyst reviewing K-12 student activity for Gaggle’s student safety platform. Identifying risks, communicating incidents, and supporting timely intervention for student well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze K-12 student activity to identify safety or well-being concerns requiring intervention
  • Maintain quality and efficiency goals to deliver actionable information quickly to emergency contacts
  • Communicate with school district customers and designated emergency contacts regarding student incidents
  • Field customer phone calls and emails about student incidents
  • Apply sound judgment and prior related knowledge to make decisions that keep students safe
  • Record and maintain concise incident notes in Salesforce CRM
  • Identify trends and use research to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with Operations Analysts to recommend decision strategies
  • Work with department leadership to develop processes and procedures
  • Audit decisions made by others for accuracy and efficiency
  • Operate as an individual contributor with ownership of outcomes
  • Report to the Operations Supervisor
  • Work first/second shift schedules, including weekends, in four 10-hour days per week

Requirements:

  • Experience using a variety of desktop and web-based applications
  • Experience in crisis management, child advocacy, content moderation, or a related field or degree
  • Comfort communicating sensitive information through email, text, and phone
  • Ability to stay focused on the same task for long uninterrupted periods
  • Ability to process large amounts of content quickly and accurately
  • Excellent reading comprehension
  • Confidence to operate independently and autonomously within a virtual team environment
  • Ability to reach goals with minimal supervision
  • High degree of ownership of individual outcomes and contribution to department and company goals
  • Passion for continuous improvement and willingness to manage change
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • Job-based access to protected data must occur within the United States
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection required
  • Private, dedicated work area with little to no disruption required
  • Ability to view sensitive and graphic content, including content that may contain nudity
  • Ability to work up to ten hours a day at a computer, reading from a screen and sitting for long periods
  • Ability to work flexible and extended hours depending on volume
  • Experience with Salesforce, Service Cloud, Slack, and Sling
