Job Description
Outbound Systems Architect scaling AirOps’s high-volume cold-email infrastructure. Optimizing deliverability, experimentation, and LLM-powered personalization for brand growth in AI search.
Responsibilities:
- Own system-wide outbound performance and output guarantees across all active clients
- Track email volume, reply rates, bounce rates, domain health, deliverability, and downstream goals
- Build proactive diagnostics to address deliverability drops before they affect customer results
- Design, maintain, and scale custom backend domain, inbox, and sending architecture for 500K+ monthly emails
- Prepare outbound infrastructure for 3x account growth
- Build a systematic testing engine for subject lines, messaging variations, targeting, and sending schedules
- Own and refine prompt systems and LLM workflows for high-converting outbound copy and personalization at scale
- Serve as the internal technical expert on cold email systems and bridge campaign operations with product development
- Define cross-portfolio benchmarks and performance standards
- Codify outbound best practices into internal playbooks for consistent campaign delivery
Requirements:
- Managed complex, multi-account cold email environments at scale (100K+ emails/month), ideally within a fast-paced agency or high-growth managed service environment
- Proven experience with modern data enrichment, programmatic personalization workflows, and bulk lead verification pipelines
- Systems-oriented approach to outbound infrastructure, deliverability variables, data pipelines, and outputs
- Comfortable operating outbound infrastructure within strict enterprise brand guidelines
- Experience with proper domain security, data handling, access controls, and auditable campaign workflows
- Knowledge of inbox provisioning, domain rotation, deliverability maintenance, and contact discovery
- Metrics-driven and autonomous approach to identifying deliverability drops and underperforming campaigns
- Experience with high-volume publisher outreach, link acquisition, digital PR, or affiliate partner recruitment is nice to have
- Experience identifying and prioritizing high-value publishers is nice to have
- Familiarity with AEO, LLM visibility, digital authority, and third-party mentions and citations is nice to have
- Ability to translate operational pain points into clear product requirements and work effectively with product and engineering teams is nice to have
