Job Description
Outpatient Psychiatrist providing remote adult behavioral healthcare through Iris Telehealth. Treating diverse mental health conditions using telehealth and Epic with multidisciplinary support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care remotely to adult patients ages 18+
- Conduct 60-minute initial evaluations and 20-minute follow-up appointments
- Treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, mood disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other general mental health conditions
- Manage patients across varying acuity levels
- Provide 40 hours of care per week Monday through Friday during CST business hours
- Complete 60 minutes of administrative time daily
- Use Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including psychiatry, neurology, psychology, and administrative staff
- Deliver high-quality behavioral healthcare to underserved communities
- Work without on-call duties or NP supervision responsibilities
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
- Active Illinois medical license or active IMLC license required
- Active medical license in the U.S.
- Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
- Availability for 40 hours per week during CST business hours, Monday through Friday
- Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels
- Experience treating adults ages 18+
- Telehealth experience preferred
- Experience using Epic is a plus
