Job Description

Partnership management specialist coordinating Pearson’s education assessment programs. Managing customers, projects, contracts, risks, budgets, and program delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Support School Assessment in the successful delivery and fulfillment of assigned programs
  • Coordinate multiple projects or a larger project within a program
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, cross-functional teams, and subcontractors to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal resources and external customers
  • Provide responsive customer service and serve as a day-to-day point of contact
  • Manage projects through initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure
  • Maintain project plans, customer requirements, schedules, and program documentation
  • Coordinate stakeholders and resources to meet project goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
  • Support implementation of statements of work and contracts
  • Manage project scope, schedule, costs, risks, and change control
  • Identify process and quality improvement opportunities and implement cost-reduction initiatives
  • Measure project performance, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate results
  • Execute project plan tasks and meet customer deliverables
  • Prepare and present internal and external program status and risk reports
  • Support new business initiatives, including statements of work and change requests
  • Support financial reviews and documentation to maintain contracts within budget and margin expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a project management role
  • PMP certification or understanding and application of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles preferred
  • Flexibility in the workplace
  • Ability to make decisions based upon limited information
  • Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Significant experience with customer service and project management
  • Understanding of team dynamics and ability to foster a positive team environment
  • High sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening, negotiation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Some travel required
