Job Description
Patient Service Specialist providing exceptional care experiences at Cleveland Clinic. Responsibilities include scheduling, patient registration, and assisting with MyChart enrollment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional experience to patients, families and visitors
- Assist with scheduling and pre-registration
- Provide help with MyChart enrollment and visit preparations
- Investigate, triage and resolve patient issues using the established HEART model
- Create a welcome and professional environment for patients
- Perform patient registration and visit preparation tasks
- Manage telephone triage, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and record tracking
- Recruit, enroll, and educate patients on MyChart
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service OR Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
- Working knowledge of PC window applications
- Ability to perform basic math sufficient to process insurance co-pays
