Job Description

Pediatric therapist delivering evidence-based remote therapy for children and families. Blackbird Health provides integrated pediatric mental health services across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26
  • Build consistent, high-quality therapeutic relationships with patients
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing patient-progress assessments
  • Participate in clinical consultation and receive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary and specialty providers
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate
  • Deliver care in a fully remote model across the United States
  • Work 17 direct therapy hours and 3 administrative hours weekly for the 20-hour part-time schedule

Requirements:

  • Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland
  • One year of experience providing individual, direct-care therapy to children and adolescents
  • One year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
  • Evidence-based practice experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and families
  • Skilled in facilitating virtual telehealth sessions
  • Strong technical proficiency with Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation abilities
  • Own a phone, computer, and high-speed internet if working as a 1099 contractor
  • Flexibility to work after 3 p.m. ET on weekdays and/or weekends
