Job Description

Pediatric therapist delivering evidence-based remote therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. Collaborating with interdisciplinary providers and families through Blackbird Health’s integrated mental health care model.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults ages 2–26
  • Build strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress
  • Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers and an interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate

Requirements:

  • Independently licensed as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, or Maryland
  • One year of experience providing individual, direct-care therapy to children and adolescent patients
  • One year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families using evidence-based practices
  • Skilled in facilitating in-person and virtual telehealth sessions
  • Strong technical proficiency with Google Suite, EMR systems, and virtual platforms
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication and documentation abilities
  • Own a phone, computer, and high-speed internet if applicable as a 1099 contractor
  • Flexibility to work after 3pm ET during the week and/or weekends
