Job Description
People Operations Associate managing onboarding, orientations, HR systems, and reports. Supporting Habitat Health’s scalable PACE healthcare model for older adults.
Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day pre-boarding and onboarding operations
- Monitor onboarding workflow progress and follow up with new hires, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners
- Flag risks and stalled tasks proactively
- Schedule orientation sessions and manage the orientation calendar across locations
- Coordinate orientation logistics with facilitators, IT, hiring managers, and new hires
- Audit people systems and correct data discrepancies
- Maintain clean, reliable, audit-ready HR records
- Build regular and ad hoc reports for leadership and cross-functional partners
- Serve as the initial point of contact for team member questions about pre-boarding, onboarding, policies, benefits, and People Operations
- Support process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and special projects as Habitat Health scales
Requirements:
- Alignment with Habitat Health’s purpose and values
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative/operational role
- High attention to detail, especially with data accuracy and system hygiene
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with HR systems such as Rippling and Greenhouse Onboarding
- Proficiency with Outlook calendaring and Excel spreadsheets
- Clear, friendly communication style and comfort serving as a frontline point of contact
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion with sensitive information
- Ability to adapt quickly as processes evolve
- Proactive ownership and follow-through
- Formal project management experience or certification (nice to have)
- Experience in HR/people operations and onboarding coordination (nice to have)
- Ability to comply with applicable infection control protocols, PPE requirements, and vaccination requirements associated with the role and work location
